Greg Carter

Sometimes you get mail that is just on another level. Greg makes his own first day covers. They are exquisite, and he generously sent me a whole bunch of them. I am completely bowled over by them, and am working on something special to send him in return!…

I received this wonderful card from Gregg. It is covered in liquid glass (some kind of epoxy, I think) which makes its weight and texture endlessly fascinating...…

money,money,money

I am flat broke at the moment so I have a whole sack of unstamped mail waiting to go out...so for those I've promised mail to - pls be patient: it is ready and will be sent on payday. The mail will of course take priority over school fees and electricity bills, no question of that! ...Of course this is all assuming the post office has enough stamps for me - i'll definitely be depleting their stock significantly!

Postal strike continues...11th week

The strike is now at the point where there are no international small mail stamps available in any of the post offices in my area including the main one! The strikers are being cleverly strategic in shutting off the supply of stamps to the post offices just when people are starting to send Christmas cards. There are really interesting stories behind the strike with allegations of rampant corruption and mismanagement. But I wish they would resolve it already. I am suffering from mail art…
