She's got a Mail Art call now, which I've posted to Mail Art Projects. Send her something! It'll be on display in a gallery!

Here's the info:

The Lost Excavations Collages

These were the collages for Svenja Wahl's "Excavations" zine that were lost in the mail ... perhaps one day they will be excavated from the bowels of the postal system. Thankfully, I scanned each collage before sending them off to Svenja. Here's a link to the blog where I've posted them:

If you like to use old US postage on your mail art envelopes...

Karl Anderson's a good source who I've used for several orders over the past few years.

His current list and very detailed information on requirements for ordering from him are found at:

http://www.andersonstampandcoin.com/Pricelist.pdf

Currently, he is selling mint US 3-cent stamps from the 1940's-50's for very little over face value.

Ever Wondered What Non-Mail-Artists Think About Mail Art?

This past week I did a short presentation about mail art where I teach. The school is a small community college in a rather rural part of North Carolina. Art is not much of a community focus here. Underneath my presentation was the focus on the international element of mail art. Basically the series of lectures is about international events, issues, etc.

I had my students that attended (about 50 did) to send me a quick email about what they learned, what stood out to them the…
