"Fresh and inviting. Working with a gelli plate is so addictive, don;t you think Pam? By the way, I use a silicone baking mat for making this kind of printwork."

My sense of wonder thinks this is great inspiration! I haven't touched my gelly plates in a while! Thanks, Olena!

Biography

I am married forever to one man.  We have two adult children and four adult grandchildren.  I enjoy making art and getting mail... so here I am.  We live in a small "village" outside of Spokane, Washington in the United States.   I am a retired art, English, journalism teacher.  I like to read and lead two book groups through our local library.  If you know of a good mystery or novel, let me know.  I'll add it to one of my groups.  I have a little maltese dog who is my constant companion.  He is very silly.  We also had a cat who proteced our property and bossed us around. He left us in august 2018.  We're sad.  Apart from that,   life is good.

I send more postcards than anything and sometimes an empty envelope. It will be marked as such.  Sometimes I put a card inside.  It depends on what I pick up.

Hi there Pam

I'm an avid reader too - I've just read a good mystery novel, different, called Snap! Maybe look out for it. If we find we like the same books - and you read electronic books, I could email you some of my favourites!

In the meantime, I'll be sending you some mail!

Looking forward to getting to know you.

Warm regards

Dear Pam,

I am very grateful to you for the artistic message with the ocean, fish, with all the beauty of nature! It's fine.

Thank you very much, Pam, for your beautiful Owl!

I've posted it in the zentangle-doodle group,

http://iuoma-network.ning.com/group/zentangle-and-doodling.

Due to some family circumstances I am very much behind in replying (so please have some patience in waiting for my mail art reply), also I'm behind in blogging in my animals-website https://realweirdanimals.blogspot.com  (I hope to be back there later this year), and I hope to post your great owl there in some months from now, too.

The huge Nine Mile Falls-Republik van Patland geographical gap does not longer exist.  Thank you very much for your mail art.  It´s time for this scribe to do homework.  Best from Patland

To become your IUOMA friend sounds much more celestial than to be a celestial scribe.
