"Fun to see this discussion. This is my first attempt at a linoleum cut print. I don't have a press so I used a roller from my kitchen printing on paper I had prevously panted. I was inspired by a grafitti stencil I saw in New York last…"
I started sending out handmade postcards to friends of mine several years ago. Basically, they were a quick way to get something made when I couldn't come up with ideas for larger projects. Soon, they became an end in themselves.
See you in the post.

Your non-art mail/fake-art mail arrived recently. Thank you for thinking of me. The card has been posted. FYI: the Eclipse stamp had been activated in the mailing process--hot summer weather? I was delighted to receive it!
I start the next series of mail art in a week or two and it usually takes me awhile to get it out. So I will be responding later in the autumn. Please be patient.
I received your card. I was delighted to see what you crafted the card from. I'll get an item back to you but first I have a trip to Seattle this weekend. Your address shows Vallejo. I have good memories of Vallejo from 1975 when I was briefly stationed there at the Navy base. I'll share more later. Again, thank you for your card. The gerbil arrived unmarked.
