Each time they add another 100 or 700 channels people expect better shows, but no, they're worse. We don't get the perfect bra channel, what a pity. My husband and I watch two things: Red Sox baseball and the Daily Show + Colbert Report for news (and laughs). I'm not kidding--it's the only news we can stand.

Moab! That's quite a trek for you, isn't it? My brother read "Desert Solitaire" in 1976 and went straight out to Moab and got a surveying job. He loves it and still goes back to hike the canyons, most recently last month. I visited him there in 1979 (took the Rio Grande Zephyr through the Rockies, wow). It was a one-horse town then, but we were mostly in the wilds anyhow, which is where he lived. He wrote a book that got published, "The View from La Sal Pass." I beg your pardon, you got me going at the mention of Moab. It's good you got to scope the tv channels in the motel. Now you won't be tempted to run out and waste money buying a tv of your own.

That's so true...they also didn't bark as much with only three channels. We don't have a TV at home but we went up to Moab, UT for the weekend and got access to a gazillion channels at our motel...my favorite was The Perfect Bra channel. It's amazing how you can have so many different shows and all of them without a smidgen of content (except for the arts channel which stood out like a guy in a tux at a tractor pull.)

I'd trade the drivel factor for the drool factor. They used to be cuter when they had ears.

they're just like dogs without the drool factor...

No! Well thanks for telling me, I'll be more careful. It's amazing how many legs a tv has and how it follows you around meaninglessly. Anytime you spot one in any more of my artwork, please report it. Thanks, David. Say, your eyes must be getting better.

It's like an animated tv, stumbling into your life on its many legs but still coming up with naught...
