(#48 in the present series) We had a lovely Cocker Spaniel for a couple of years, but had to give it away for various family reasons. I've had cats for all but 2 years since 1971. I was going to get a dog when I retired, but got another cat instead. Now, I'm a cat person. But if I'd ever had a dog...who knows?
