Gran Canaria post card from Grethe rcvd 2 2016

This big postcard from Grethe arrived in the mail this week. She scouted out this location to take this awesome photo and made this postcard from her photography! I'm kinda thinking she should do this professionally, right? I'm not sure where Gran Canaria is, but she assures me it is sunny and hot - just what our cold winter called for! Thank you, Grethe!

Only now I see my card here. Gran Canaria is the second largest of the Canary Islands, a Spanish group of islands that lies out from the African coast with only 100 km to the Sahara desert.
