We have flamingos here on the etang/lake in Sigean.

Unfortunately, we had a very, very cold spell (for us) at the start of February, and about 20% of the flamingos died because their feet got frozen into the shallow water and they couldn't get out. lots got rescued, but many died, alas. Those that survived seem to be OK now.

Perhaps Sheri would like to make a version of this for my 'Summer in Sigean' Exhbition?
