Austin is on a roll. Two pieces of mail art in one week. That's a personal best by any measure. This one features a ticket stub from Houston's legendary Fitzgeralds and a mural of Lee Quinones on Ludlow Street in the Lower East Side. I have to tell you, Austin, it took me an hour to track that down but I finally found it. This is called Dub 56 (Remix) The Toasters. I'm presuming it was the musical background while you were making it. Thanks, Austin.

Indeed it was, my personal favorite of their albums, is indeed 'Dub 56'. Although the Coolie Ranks Remix only appears on a compilation called 'Ska: The Third Wave', to the best of my knowledge that is. The Xmas show at Fitzy's was fun, my wife grew up in Houston & used to frequent the establishment on the weekends. I just thought the ticket stub for a punk show on Xmas & a grafitti mural worked well together for some reason, maybe it was the window rattling Ska at I was listening to at the time?
