YAH! Artistamp Heroes!

YAH! Artistamp Heroes!

Group to share the artistamps which you've received from... Your Artistamp Hero(es)!

In the past years I've received wonderful artistamps (also known as cinderella stamps).
Recently I was surprised by some more beautiful self-created stamps. I will publish the awesome beautiful artistamps by Ptrzia and Alan Brignull in this group later. And the fantastic lion stamps by Eraser Heed you already can see here.
Moreover, there's the wonderful artistamp sheet you see below, created by Fraenz, who brought various mail artists together (and I'm feeling honoured being part of them - thank you very much, Fraenz!).

The above mentioned mail artists have something in common. They're not only mail art colleagues, but they also are... My Artistamp Heroes!

Of course there are more mail artists who I consider a real Artistamp Hero. No doubt they will appear here in future, too.

And as there are Many More Artistamp Heroes, I created this group.

And I am pleased to invite you to share your received artistamps, to celebrate the fact that you have Your Artistamp Hero(es), too!

Carolyn, I just posted a collection of Artistamps that Alan Brignull sent me, in my blog.

I think as long as they are posted stating the name of the author it is perfectly legal and also what the author would like. I have been doing that for years and still I am out of prison!

I also got Cascadia's homage to Stanislav Petrov. I am so glad you published it here, Heleen. I should have thought of it. I feel it should be widely known as, like me, probably many others never heard of this miraculous escape. Three cheers for Cascadia Artpost!

Some time ago I saw an intriguing documentary about Stanislav Petrov. A brave and smart man, who, during the cold war, saved our world from war madness, from a nuclear disaster.

Cascadia Artpost's first artistamp of the year 2018 has been made in honour of Stanislav Petrov.

(and I am a lucky receiver of this wonderful tribute)

Thank you very much, Cascadia Artpost!

A beautiful artistamp arrived on a seasonal (stormy season!) card, created and sent by Cascadia Artpost.

The front side of the card I'll post in the 'blue roads' group.

Thank you very much, Cascadia Artpost!

Great artistamps from Keith S. Chambers!

'Hippurus hoc non est', 'This is  not a goldfish'.

See this and other artistamps (posted in this group, too, by Katerina on 21 September) on the animals blog.

To my surprise I received this wonderful artistamp sheet, showing a variety of artistamps by several mail artists, created almost 30 years ago.

Thank you very much, Anna Banana!

Also Ketih S. Chambers is an Artistamp Hero!

I was pleasantly surprised by a large envelope showing great rubberstamp prints, and inside an awesome ATC, and more (to be posted at my animals blog in one of the coming days), and these wonderful artistamp sheets, issued in this DADA year, which I like to share here with you all:

One fish from the ocean depths:

Two fish from the lake above:

Three fish from the river beyond:

The dada centenary sunflower tank:

Thank you very, very much, Keith!
