Rat Mail invites artists to create mail art to be exhibited on the theme of Cyborgs and Posthuman Culture.
Requirements for Submissions
To participate in this exhibition, please review the following guidelines:
• All submissions must relate to the theme.
• Format – All types of media are encouraged so long as it can be sent through regular mail
• Size – all formats are welcome

Here is my open call for a charitable mail art Exhibition in Germany.
Today and Tomorrow
International MAIL ART Exhibition in Bad Aibling (near Munich)
November/December 2012
Title: Today and Tomorrow
Technique: free - painting, drawing, print, collage, Postcards, Artistamps, small sculptures (without frame or glass)
Only original works will be accepted, photocopies or e-mails of works will not be accepted.
Size: post card (10x15 cm) to A4 (19x29,7 cm), 3d.
All works must be sent by regular mail with postage stamps.
Works will not be returned, they will all be exhibited.
All proceeds will be donated for charitable purpose i in the region of Bad Aibling.
Deadline: October 20, 2012
The exhibition will be presented in Bad Aibling (near Munich) from November 19th to December 15th 2012 at Art Association Bad Aibling.
Documentation will be sent to everyone.

Waterfalls
Send artwork about waterfalls or commercial postcards of waterfalls.
This show will be on view in the National Park Service Visitor Center in Stehekin, Washington. You can also view the show on our website: http://stehekinmailart.weebly.com/
We want viewers in the Visitor Center to see at a glance not only your artwork and postcards but also your stamps, cancellation, messages -- the evidence that this was sent thru the mail by a person. We aren’t able to return your entries. There is no Jury. All entries must be suitable for viewing by families with young children.

As preparation for an artist residency in Finland I am reading the Kalevala. Finland’s epic. It tells everything from the history of the world to how to make decent homebrew.

SNOWBALL MAIL-ART CALL
At February 29th 2012 (the leap day) the project GLOBALIZATION-CONNECTIONS-TIME takes place.
You are invited to join the 'Snowball' mail-art project by creating a postcard on this day and send it to Kunsthalle Hannover where it will be exhibited in March and on the next leap day Feb 29, 2016.
Subject 'Snowball'
„Snowball“ can be associated with winter, childhood, climate (change), speed, movement, colour, form, ...
On the back of your postcard please write:
- title of your work
- date of February 29th 2012
- your name, city, country
- and the name of artist duo Topp & Dubio who has invited you
This project is in itself a snowball effect, so please forward this information immediately to artists of your choice with the same request for creating a postcard on that day and to forward the information again to other artists of their choice, etc, etc.
