Comment by Raphael Nadolny on November 25, 2023 at 8:49am: Biala Podlaska - a city with county rights in eastern Poland, in Lublin Province, the seat of Biala County and Biala Podlaska Municipality. In 1975 Biala Podlaska became the capital of the province, which contributed to a doubling of its population in 20 years. After the administrative reform in 1999 it has the status of a city with county rights.

Despite being administratively part of the Mazovian Voivodeship, historically, culturally and ethnographically Radom and its region are an integral part of Lesser Poland. The largest urban center in the forks of the Vistula and Pilica rivers, the second largest city in the Mazovia province. Prior to 1795, it was a royal city in the Radom district of Sandomierskie province. In the Polish People's Republic, from 1975-1998 the seat of the Radom province authorities. Postcard from 1976.
