PS, Angie & Snooky.

My numbers are wrong.

You need 7 people -- one per rainbow colour.

Each must send you 7 (not 4) Arty Slides of 'their' colour.

You keep one set of 7 Rainbow Slides, and then distribute the other 6 to the other 6 participants.

If there 14 people interested, then you can set up 2 Rainbow 'Gangs'.

if there are more than 8 but less than 14, then the Plus element comes into it.

One thing worries me though, and that is people sending their rainbow Slides late. the thing will only work when there are complete Rainbow sets, and so if people delay for one reason or another, it spoils (or delays) the whole thing for everyone.

Okey dokey?

Val

Bonsoir A&S!

It was a color/colour thing.

If you want to run it, then:

* announce a Rainbow Arty Slide Swap

* in which we need at least 7 people, who will be allocated a colour

* each makes up 4 slides of, around, about, etc that colour, and send them to you

* by a certain date

* and you distribute a rainbow set of 7 Arty Slides to all participants.

That's the basic idea, and I hope it's a bit clearer now;

Regards, Val

Try this, Angie. It's called 'Rainbow Slides'.

It would -- might?-- work as follows.

There are 7 colours (with a U!) in a rainbow -- red, orange, yellow, green, bluie, indigo and violet. ( = r o y g b i v )

There are 7 people involved in 'Rainbow Slides'. Each is assigned a unique colour (with a U!). I am red, you are orange, etc.

Each of us makes up  4 slides based on their colour (with a U!) theme. The colour (with a U!) can be used  on the outside and/or the inside of the Arty Slides, and on the front and/or the back, too.

They are all sent to someone who assembles them in a 'block' of 28, horizontally by colour:

r r r r   (= red)

o o o o ( = orange)

y y y y

g g g g

b b b b

i i i i

v v v v

Then the someone (you? -- with a u, of course) divides them vertically, and sends the other 6 participants a vertical set of 7 different colour (with a U!) Arty Slides: r, o, y, g ,b ,i ,v.

If there are more than 7 people who want to participate, then it becomes 'Rainbow Plus' and agreed other colours (with a U!) are added. If so, participants still only make up 4 slides, but receive 7 + back.

Wotcha think? Val (without a single U)
