Some confusion has arisen over the difference between a "trashmobile" and a "Trashpomobile" at Walmarth Cascadia. The pictures attached should clarify the meaning.

Martha, I just saw that the whole naked bike ride thing is done in cambridge! i find that shocking. Isn't england a pretty conservative country?

Retail activity remained high on the second day of the Walmarth Cascadia Grand Opening Month event. Downtown parking was at a premium, so taking the bus to Walmarth was the way to go. The reaction on the sidewalk was palpable yesterday after yours truly refilled the DKult Rain Punch Barrel, with several Cascadians giving themselves high fives, apparently for their good fortune to find a full barrel.

I can see why everyone is scrambling to dive into those dumpsters. They know the best stuff goes in there because it is too good to use in trashpo. If it isn't dented, dinged, bumped, bruised--it's unusable!  i really think you should charge for the dumpster dive as well as the rain punch barrel. These people can collect their own rain. Maybe you should move it indoors so they have to actually shop and spend some of their cash.

Hmmm, last time I looked, the only queuing was around the Rain Punch Barrel out in front of the store, but no lines to the store's front door. But out in back, there seems to be some competititive pickin' going on around the dumpsters. I had a hunch that dumpsters painted in the Walmarth colors would attract customers like ... well, we don't need to get into any more ripe analogies. Perhaps the 90-degree temperatures have something to do with the popularity of the punch barrel on the front sidewalk. Almost time for a refill, from the look of concern on the faces of the thirsty! Gotta go, better hose it down now, that midday sun is hot.

thThank you Martha!!!  I am so disappointed that I missed the opening. I hope there was extensive video footage. I know WTJI channel 40 was there because I saw (out of my good eye) a news clip showing people lining up at the doors and some scuffling about cutting in line. Too bad people can't act civilized. Don't they know the shelves are restocked every half hour? can someone in marketing please write a Walmar commercial and / or jingle?  hint hin t......Miss Martha
