What the hell is DKult? 28 Replies

DKult was originated by DeVillo Sloan-- a Kult comprised of my 'fans' ---DKulters. He was the only one at the time and possibly even now.   But It has evolved into a friendly neighborhood Kult devoted to the worship of trash and  the creation of…Continue

That's awesome Sue, sounds dangerous though, but I guess those adrenalin junkies are looking for that! Great link.

Nancy, that is stunningly minimally trashpoetic. Love it

I found a dead baby mouse at the door step yesterday morning. I know where it came from so it wasn't some creepy omen. My first thought was to send it to one of you. I went back and forth all day thinking that was way over the top or was it. Finally decided, you know, I will just do it. Went to put the little thing in a bag and it was gone. So it just wasn't meant to be.

Kat was kind enough to blog this so I hijacked the photo. I sent this bio-trashpo to Kat for her going bananas extravaganza. I found this banana peel as is on the street and it made it all the way to Greece. Hopefully the gel medium will preserve it indefinately

Thanks Amy.  I received an amazing trashbook from Lisa today. Also a copy of the fat packet of legal docs that KDJ sent to DeVillo over his attenmpt to swindle DKult. KDJ has created a judicial materpiece. He will be bogged down in the paperwork and detailed instructions for days. One form even asks if he has ever been institutionalized, and if he WERE to get into an accident what would it look like? KDJ, you're a genius for calling Dewey, Cheetum, and Hough afte after seeing their commercial. WIth them on our side I think it's safe to start the sweat lodge back up. After all that one dude only got two years. Looks like DVS has been scarce since receiving the fat packet. I really hope this is the end of it. I even sent him some replacements hoping to settle out of court. Not because DKult admits guilt, but because it was the right thing to do. You're the best KDJ!

DVS, Thank you for correcting my mistatement.  No one knows it's history better than you.  Hours and hours of extensive research.....

I just returned from the PO - hoping for a scrap.  Alas, not today.  Instead a message from the Queen of Trashpo was awaiting me.  As you can see from the scan, the PO wanted a small piece and took it without asking, but hey I am willing to share.  This wonderful piece is on genuine cardboard and features one of her precious letters and that wonderful flow of color & ink,  I am a happy camper.  Thank you, Diane.  I LOVE it!

Thanks you guys. I think it was Amy who gave me the twist tie idea. She used one of those other square plastic kind. The shroud is actually real, so I won't even try to pretend it's a fake. DVS, I'd love to see your whole letter. I got a crick in my neck trying to read Amy's sidewise:) must read every word of this shameless marketing genius. Will the profits be enough to earn your way to trashtopia?

Comment by De Villo Sloan on November 21, 2011 at 2:10pm

Amy, the Elgin Shroud was indeed brought back to the US from Mexico. I wouldn't call it smuggling. A courier named Ramone put it on and casually walked across the border into the US. The shroud was in Mexico for several months at an undisclosed location.

OMG!  Amy, what a heap.  I do believe the scrap from De Villo originated in the country of Elgin.  And all of that stuff from Diane - the Queen....well what an honor.

DK, twist tie - nice touch!
