Can't wait Vizma--I'm honored! That's what I love about making trashbooks too,, that it's a very unconscious process, but then i guess that's how I make all my art--throw spaghetti on the wall and see what sticks. The list is part of the billing/marketing of state farm insurance and it really IS weird isn't it? a government to do list would be great:

help the rich get richer

continue corruption

print more money

squelch the little guy

outsource  jobs

support sweat shop and child labor

put on a fake smile and claim

"Everything is going to be all right"

balance budget (yeah right)

The Damacio list is funny.  I can' believe that is what State Farm sends out to there debtors.  Do you think this would work in Greece at the government level?

Diane, I sent you my very first trashpo boekie yesterday, hope that helps to get you out of the shit you've been in!!

 I'm surprised that it was so much fun to make. It was liberating actually, the first time in YEARS, probably since childhood, that I haven't planned the piece I was making, no concept development or need for any fluidity. It was purely a serendipitous creation from my rubbish bin! I threw my design and art training to the wind and really enjoyed the process, although you'll probably still find some of my sticking of square bits at perfect 90 degree angles, but I'm working on it!

Wood would be perfect, because it'll show up. At first I thought a kind of shadow box, but the cup is too subtle for that. It's very dainty, you know.

Is that list something printed by the mortgage company??? It's downright bizarre!

Loved the squished things you guys-the plastic cup looks very much like a flower and thank you Nance, I can honestly say I prefer the trashcan flower to red roses.I found this trashpo yesterday. It's been hard lately to find good handwritten items, but I see why Damacio threw this out
