Thanks Erni, now I see. Did you give instructions as to where the sand had to end up, or was that an added gesture from the Aussies? Very clever.

Comment by De Villo Sloan on February 18, 2012 at 4:57am

OK, got it. It was about sand, yet so fluid & elusive. Dw is on putting together "The Triumph of Sandpo." There were many documents & much art. Perhaps it can be documented. Maybe. "My Dream." And I meant: "I've got a feeling." "Everybody had a hard year. Everybody had a good time. Everybody had a wet dream. Everybody saw the sun shine." But my fav: "Everybody pulled their socks up. Everybody put their foot down."

The rooftop concert.

Nyet! "The Triumph of Sandpo" - the documented history of Sandpo is being compiled! Save all Sandpo documents!

Comment by De Villo Sloan on February 18, 2012 at 4:25am

I hadn't looked at it for a while, although I have been thinking about it lately. It was posted on Open Fluxus for a time and seemed to get some interest.

We gain a great deal, but I miss Bifidus. So do others. I think we have not heard the last of haptics, in fact, "I got a felling" we're do for a big resurgence.

Sandpo might have been something transitional - too elusive to settle in - toward something more.

A great reminder of GOOD FRIENDS for sure, DharmaDdDa.

It has circulated. All the original members have gone on to distinguish themselves. I suppose that's how it goes.

Erni, is this the type of po you mean? Poo-po?

Quite beautiful I reckon. My sister sold a pile of this in a Sydney gallery for $500, quite expensive considering it wasn't even the artist's sample.

DK, op shop is short for opportunity shop, and yes, it's just a 2nd hand store. I think it refers to the opportunity to fossick!?

Comment by Nancy Bell Scott on February 17, 2012 at 3:41pm

Oh good, an IUOMA history lesson. If it's po, it's desirable.

No condiments clause, DK, yes. Imagine relish, mustard, or ketchup in the hands of the wrong person.

Comment by DKeys on February 17, 2012 at 1:10pm

LOL Nancy--maybe a 'no condiments' clause is neccessary. I can't wait to post something sent to me by Dean that came with a warning ahead of time. It really sparked a lot of thought in me.

Vizma--what a great word, but now I want to know what Op Shops are. I gather it means second hand store but what is the op part specifically?

If I made art with my immediate surroundings, everyone would be receiving my bills:)

Dear Erni,

Please don't put mayonnaise in my parcel.

Thanks,

Nancy
