OH Diane this is so funny, I'm on the floor.  When I was little, there was a series called "Love American style".  Taking someone to White Castle for Valentines Day would have been the style of this show.  Please please tell me this is a joke even to Americans.

Wow, Diane, "formal and romantic" dining at White Castle? Back in the early 60's, there was one at the corner of Harlem Avenue and Ogden, near riverside, it might still be there? And shaped like a little White Castle, it was a "drive-in", 'was famous for the smallest hamburgers in town...with the most Greece :-) No wonder Erni doesn't eat them!

..even if now you can get 'em at your local freezer and pop 'em in the microwave???

Hi Kat! I'm here. Been making lots of (trashpo) art. Can't scan anything at the moment to post so feeling a little held back by that.  Thank you for the beautiful sky CD--very serene

I have only been to a White Castle once many years ago, but there is one close to here.For Valetine's Day they set it up for formal romantic dining.

I used to live in Hartford CT. in the late 40's were Jack started his early writings  on a rented underwood typrwriter before leaving to NYC. I started doing research on him in CT.. Some day when i find time i'll send you a copy of it. The he lived in is still standing, maybe i start a campaign to make an historical sight.HMMM? By the way i sent you some packages a few weeks ago, i hope they arrived safetly????
