Thanks, Neil! DKult Yamulkes sound awesome! You'll get the hang of the clacketty-clacketty needles if you really are interested--you should check out a local yarn shop to see if they have a knit nite for beginners.  A lot of them do.

Angie, that sounds like the perfect use of the Magic DK Oracle!!!

Thanks Thom ,sorry the Post Office is not giving math exams to their workers. I'm still trying to learn to knit, someday i'll do it. I really admire your work. Some day i will Knit  Dkult Yamulkes! I think the P.O owes you some $$$$$$!

Wow, that is one great scan of the Oracle instructions sheet, KDJ!  Glad that it arrived safe and sound.

I sent one to you at the same time, Neil, but the post office that I use has been giving me a hard time lately and yours got sent back to me with the claim that I hadn't put enough postage on it. (Which is not true: the note from the post office said there was only a certain amount on the package; but if you added-up the postage right there under one's nose it was more than what the postal person stated on the note....  Don't they require at least a 2nd grade math competency to work at the post office these days???!!  Makes me so MAD!!  Now I have to make an additional trip to the post office in order to give the postal workers a simple mathematics lesson... maybe I should bring them a counting tape to put at their work station!!)

The bags don't take too long too make--they are really just a knit tube with one end sewn up.  Takes about 2 evening's worth of boob-tube watching.  Trying to pound 'em out so others can start their own consultations soon.

"I see...I see...the oracle is ..." probably BLUE...or GREEN (maybe RED?)

Wow Thom! I wish i could knit like you! Guess my brain is to trashwired! You knit the most beautiful stuff, how long does it take you to make one piece?

This DKULT oracle bag is like Katerina's Delphic Oracle mail art!

Comment by De Villo Sloan on April 10, 2012 at 6:45pm

Thom's DK oracle is fantastic! I hope there are plans to turn part of the Elgin Mansion into a museum so all this work will be preserved.

KDJ, lately I've been saying "Dkulters" too. But I keep thinking of bikers. The roadkill leather jackets, etc. are a scary image.

Nice DK Oracle ya got, KDJ! Thom knows what we need!

Thom's blue knitted bad arrived in DKultGR...so now I shall add the "D" and "K" pieces, and a few other letters too...just "scramble" them all in the bag...shake 'n bake and see what the DK Oracle reveals! Oh, must add-on tidbits of trash?

Comment by DKeys on April 10, 2012 at 5:59pm

Hey Kat-my last batch of 'cooked' paper was all in the blue tones and I thought of you. glad you like the incense smell-want to send you a touch of DKult in GR. The quidam ticket is really the only trashpo element and that ticket stub came from the infamous KDJ!

Neil==your dance performance was inspired. Roberto's costume designs for that year's recital were out of this world--glow in the dark satin was sooo in that year. I'm so glad we have the whole thing caught on videotape. Did it make it to youtube yet?

Ommmmm Art from the DKult arrived in Greece, just as I had to send out my IRS 1040A (Yep, "dual" citizens must file income tax two places 'cause we vote two places, too :-) Ah, art therapy is the answer! Thanks, DK. This is Trashpo? It is very oriental ART and the aroma of incense is wonderful! Nice bit-of-blue! 'Love it! xxx
