Ok. Did you get the job?? Even after you smushed a DKult tattoo onto the interviewer as your lasting impression?

Comment by Dean aka Artist in Seine on April 27, 2012 at 9:40am

Nancy, Don't worry, we know who we all are.  What makes you think I didn't get the job?  I left them with an everlasting impression.

The anti-DKult movement is rolling, and our motto can be seen everywhere:

Thank you KDJ for the great idea.  PS I just love those church envelopes!

You know, Dean, bitterness is not becoming, especially in a leader making a name for himself.

Now, how much will you pay me for pretending to join the anti-DKult movement?

I'm truly sorry you didn't get the job from whoever that was, but be happy--they sound too straight-laced anyhow.

It is for this reason I wish to inform you all that I have joined the forces in the anti-DKult movement.

If anyone would like my piece of the Elgin shroud and / or the last thread, please let me know by Mail Art.

I wrote a note last week stating that I had doubts about the Elgin shroud.  I checked up on the sickly chickens that had been transformed into swans by the shroud.  They are now living in London's Hyde Park.  Since their arrival, the gardeners notice that other small animals & birds have been disappearing.  A mystery everyone thought.  But then one of the gardeners saw one of the swans attack and devour a Rottweiler.

If you remember, my first adventure with the Elgin shroud left me out on a limb.  My next & last adventure wasn’t any better.

I have a job interview on Monday, and I’m not taking any chances!
I’m covering all my bases by wearing my piece of the Eglin Shroud.
Although I arrived 15 minutes early, they kept me waiting for nearly an hour before I was finally escorted  to enter a small conference room where three people sat facing an empty chair.  I said hello, and shook hands with each one of them carefully looking them in the eyes at the same time.  What seem to be the chairman said; “please have a seat”, and I sat down in the empty chair facing these three people who I have never met before in my life.  The interview started out very civilized with questions about how I got there, and did I find the address easy to find.
For the next 45 minutes the questions became more and more technical and to the point.  I was proud of myself for having the right answer quickly and clearly for every question they asked.  “This is going to be a breeze.”, I thought to myself.
And then it happen, the lady on the right which I had been lead to believe was the Human Resource Manager said, « Dean, can I ask you what is that rag you are wearing on your suit jacket? »
I calmly explained that it wasn’t a rag …

Thread no more, the last of the Elgin shroud.  I received from Diane a very funny Mail art piece and the last threads of the Elgin shroud which was sent in a lovely envelope.  Now the challenge is to sneak into the Ladies restroom and discard it in the receptacle as per instructed.  I'll do my best.  Thank you Diane
