This is a place to explore all things trashpo (Trash Poetry)and found objects.  Trashpo is 1) economical 2) environmentally responsible and 3) challenging. It's a great way to repurpose all the trash that our planet is buried in!

Evolution. This evolves into that... and that... and that... Life is not stagnant. Neither is art. :D

I'm planning on remaking a piece for an upcoming art salon. I think it's suiting that trashpo be temporary and continue the process of creation/destruction

I was with Jill when she picked up that piece from the exhibit. It was a photo of the tangled metal which was later hauled off to the scrap yard. The life cycle of the metal lives on. She just happened upon it in a glorious moment. Ah, the simple things in life! Finding beauty in the mundane...

Great article! thanks for posting Lynn. Love the metal piece in particular

DK, I must confess that Dark Wall is my favorite enigma! His aptly timed wisdom helps to fuel my satirical nature, sending me into trances of reverie from which I am loathe to return...

P.S. Jill has appeared in GreenCraft Magazine twice. The fall 2012 issue on the stands now features her technique for making gift wrap from newspaper.

P.P.S. The fourth photo in the article features a sampling of mail art she's received including a hand-stitched Valentine from me in the upper right-hand corner.

Whether you know it or not, you all have Jill Eudaly to thank for my presence here at IUOMA (and more specifically here at All Things TrashPo.) She signed up, logged in, dragged a few of us into the fray and then she got caught up in the Real World and rarely makes an appearance here these days. I just thought I'd share this article with everyone so you can see that she's as whacked and passionate about her Trash as we are. Leave her some kudos on her IUOMA wall, won't you? That'll surprise her when next she peeks in! http://cranberry.patch.com/articles/meet-local-green-artist-jill-eu...

DW is the unfortunately collateral damage of Dkult's experiments in time travel. He has been transported between decades past, present, and future, so many times ( in between posts) that it's amazing he can even say foot fetish. His sacrifice has allowed for trashpo history to be rewritten. How else do you think those bits of trash come across your path at exactly the right synchronistic moment?
