This is a place to explore all things trashpo (Trash Poetry)and found objects. Trashpo is 1) economical 2) environmentally responsible and 3) challenging. It's a great way to repurpose all the trash that our planet is buried in!

"If trashpo has taught me anything its that every windblown street corner and cyclone fence is a veritable Dick Blick of free art materials."
Not that kind of junk and not thse kinds of drawers... Hey, we all have them. I have several. They are veritable trasher troves of useless and useful-but-forgotten stuff. Papers, letters from lost lovers, dried up fountain pens, church attendance…Continue

DKult was originated by DeVillo Sloan-- a Kult comprised of my 'fans' ---DKulters. He was the only one at the time and possibly even now. But It has evolved into a friendly neighborhood Kult devoted to the worship of trash and the creation of…Continue

08.01.21 Dare Ms. Sabrina S.,...."Motico"...I thought it meant an early form of tidbits of cardboard & trash refigured as an early form of Ray Johnson's collage efforts. See Google's "Ray Johnson /Moticos" for a more comprehensive & intelligent definition. SinCelery, Richard Canard
What's motico?
08.01.20 Dare Ms. Diane Keys, ...trash moving into the "fine art" area ---be careful....do I sense a bit of motico here? SinCelery, Richard Canard
Hi Mick, I figured that is what you meant and I am right there with you. I will not shop there. Maybe Walmartha is a better name?
Love your observation Martha-when you are an artist you are never bored and when you are a trashpoet, you never run out of supplies.
Hope you all are doing well and here is to fun in 2021
Mick how could you have mixed the two. Walmarth is in the United Queendom of Retailia, in the Cloud and has an h. Perhaps it should be spelled WalmartH. And it is a dig at our consumerist society. But I see you used WalmarhT as it should be, from the outside.
I used to pick up rubbish in the streets of London, probably the trash capital of the world. Ah! Those were the days! No danger of picking up a killer bug, only tetanus, tuberculosis or the bubonic plague.
Oh DianeKeys I meant the other Walmarth, that's the one I like to avoid.
But your Walmarth I love.
I remember fondly prowling the perimeter collecting trash to make Trashpo. It was like a trip to an art supply store.
Diana, W is for Walmarth, sorry, I am lazy to type, yes it is Dizia, indeedy.
Do not be sorry for me, being locked down is not too bad, we are well organized and enjoy our own company. Of course there are things we miss like our trips to Walmarth and picking up rubbish but a mail artist is never locked down.
Mick, why do you feel guilty shopping at Walmarth? Making trashpo is definitely uplifting and there is inspiration everywhere--even if we don't pick up the debris we see.
Thank you Vermina! Is that font Dizia? Forgey now Lili spelled it..Di sea?
Martha, who is W? Sorry you are in lockdown. But I know you and where there is a Walmarth, there is a way!
Mick! Vermina thanks you from the bottom of her heart. If you go to your page you may have a surprise. Or not .
