THE ONE THOUSAND PEACE CRANE GOAL HAS BEEN REACHED AS OF 1/6/12. (PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY MORE PEACE CRANES.)

Thank you to everyone who made peace cranes!

There's a story told in Japan that if you make a thousand origami Peace Cranes, you or someone you love will be healed. This group is for those who wish to make an origami Peace Crane which will then be sent to the Hiroshima Peace Museum.

It's been an incredible variety of colors and textured papers that have been used - everyone has done a fantastic job!
