Whether you create in a studio, atelier, shed, kitchen or on a coffee table, the artists' workspace has always been an intriguing place of information and interest to people.
Please share photos of YOUR mail art creating area. I want to see Artspaces in action, so no tidying up!! Let's see your pens, tools, glues, stamps, dirty wine glass, rubbish bin, storage space, etc!
Let's have a snoop in this group!!

I work on many pieces simultaneously - not just mail art: paper, mixed media, collage, panels- and I had run out of space to place incomplete work as it dries. So I built a storage rack with many shelves, shown here in the back corner. Now my…Continue

Great use of the curtain rail Janine! And all the different types of woven baskets.
Ursula! No such thing as overkill here! Thanks for showing your tidy space. Close-ups please! I'd love to see what you have displayed in your shelves and even what books you have! I'm a shameless snoop!
THanks for the tour Ursula, looks great!
Janine, great helpers :)
Looks cosy and creative Ursula !
Here is the main area where I work. Yes, that photo on the wall is me when I was a toddler. I was going to post another photo that shows the whole area a little closer up, but eh, overkill. The bookshelf in this case is just a bookshelf - overflow from other parts of the house. I may switch its contents with the one on the other wall, which actually has art supplies. Speaking of ....
There's all the books I'm planning to rebind (on the upper shelves) and collage and drawing raw material (on the lower ones). Storage bins of *stuff* and in the closet, bags of fabric and various fiber projects. Plus other random things, of course.
And finally -
The other corner, behind my desk. Lots of yarn/knitting/crocheting stuff. Also, my typewriter. You can see on the window how I've got a hanging display for some of the mail art I've received. The other side of the window (visible in the last photo) has postcards from Postcrossing.
Lots of room on the floor, since that's my secondary workspace! Well, that's my tour. Hope you like it - I really love seeing the places where people work!
those two look like very genki girls!!! yuhouuuuu..
btw, I really like the paintings in the background of the picture of them too!
I love the bantams - they are so cool looking, and beautiful! I've never heard of or seen them before...
Seems you had a good time !
vivi, lindísima foto!!
