Whether you create in a studio, atelier, shed, kitchen or on a coffee table, the artists' workspace has always been an intriguing place of information and interest to people.
Please share photos of YOUR mail art creating area. I want to see Artspaces in action, so no tidying up!! Let's see your pens, tools, glues, stamps, dirty wine glass, rubbish bin, storage space, etc!
Let's have a snoop in this group!!

I work on many pieces simultaneously - not just mail art: paper, mixed media, collage, panels- and I had run out of space to place incomplete work as it dries. So I built a storage rack with many shelves, shown here in the back corner. Now my…Continue

Dunno xx, I think I'll be winding the ribbon back or reversing it or whatever is done to reuse the ribbon! I didn't even think of that when I bought the cutie pie!
Wow, look at arttower, what a total groover!!!
Angie, I hope you didn't sit thru the hour of rodnidotcom's link, I saw 3 mins. Good suggestion there! Potpo! Anyone heard from Dustin?
So cool! I recently picked up one like that from my dad. Have not used it yet. I have been wondering if ribbons are still available to buy.
That's great that your brother is sharing his space with you, half each? Did he recently put together that extra cabinet, I spy an allen key!!
I can't imagine you getting a bit bold Taidgh!! Ha ha!
Hello Carina! Yes, a real table sounds brilliant! I'm going to start work on a children's book soon. I have been thinking it will be about a football playing turtle, much like the ones I drew for you without the booze. So a bit of space to work on initial sketches and storyboards would come in handy. Teddy is gorgeous but gets a little bold at times, a little like me :P
Taidgh, you've got many lovely envelopes in the process, great with a table, but you deserve a REAL table though :))) Teddy looks gorgeous!
Here's the space I'm working with at the moment - my brother's music room. A step up from my usual window ledge or chair. The dog Teddy is hoping to rob a pencil while I am not looking. I normally have a few illustrated books lying around and comic journals for inspiration. And I like to listen to music while making envelopes.
