Christine, most of it is in my mind. Where each thing is precisely isn't known, but generally I know which bin to look in. Besides, rummaging is part of the creative process (for me). Usually I have no idea what papers I want to use while starting a piece nor in the middle of one.

Val's photos are *well worth* looking at. 

Are these (below) what you mean by "bins"? Sorry I'm dense. It's all stuff many people would throw out, I suppose, so it's "scraps" kept in bins, sort of, in my studio. On the main work table, to the left of it, to the right of it, and on other big shelf (small section shown):

It's for bins and the stuff you put in there! I didn't want to offend anybodys' rubbish, because my rubbish usually jumps back out as an art supply and becomes mail art. Sorry Nancy, maybe I've had too much food today and all the blood has gone to my stomach and there's not enough left in my brain!!!
