Bondi Beach! Lucky you! I love the beaches, the harbour, everything in Sydney. Christmas time at the beach is fantastic, isn't it? Prawns and bbqs! It's getting hot here already, yesterday the road was melting.

The Aussie washi is made in Japan!! Ha!

Comment by Kim JungYoun on November 28, 2013 at 12:46pm

The washis I've got are from Japan and USA.
Korean washis are also made and sold in Seoul, too.
I wish I could get Aussie washi.

There was no washi tape when I lived in Sydney, almost 20 years ago.

P.S. I lived in Bondi Beach where is so very beautiful.

Have you ever been there?
I miss summer Christmas in Sydney. :)

Comment by vizma bruns on November 28, 2013 at 12:37pm

Really? 4 years! That makes you a half Aussie in my books!!!! I love visiting Sydney, such a gorgeous city.

Are the washis you ordered the Aussie ones?? And where from??

Looking forward to my first mailing from Korea!!! Yippee, thanks!!

Comment by Kim JungYoun on November 28, 2013 at 12:23pm

vizma bruns>Oh, you live in Australia!
I lived in Sydney, N.S.W. for 4 years, from 1991 to 1994.
I graduated from college there.

I LOVE Australia. So beautiful country!
Hope to visit there again.
I'll send you something made with washi tape soon. :)

Comment by vizma bruns on November 28, 2013 at 12:12pm

Wow! I want to come to your house and play with washi tape, Kim JungYoun!!! So many that I've never seen before! Do I see a roll with a zipper?? Wow wowow!!

Australian shops very rarely have washi, and the ones we have in craft shops are just awful.

Hey Claire- show us what's in that package!! Greedy eyes want to see!!!! :-O

Comment by Kim JungYoun on November 28, 2013 at 8:28am

I visit Japan quite often so I buy washi tape whenever I visit Japan.
Yes, I also buy it in Korea.

It costs twice as much.
I ordered some the day before yesterday so I'll get them tonight.
I'll post the picture of them. :)
