In Greece we call 'em "kremidi"

(as stated earlier here...maybe a few years ago?)

Anyway, fun what Carina is "painting-with-onions"!

Hi! Carina sent me some mail and told me I had to join Onions, so here I am. I'm not sure what happens here, but I very slowly fried lots of onions in a pan of chicken and bacon fat, and it is the most beauuuuuuutiful thing to have in the fridge to add to meals. Some of my friends, who are Hare Krishnas, aren't allowed to eat onions or garlic.  In Latvian onions are called sipoli.

'UIEN', means ONIONS in Dutch (singular, lower-case: ui). Not to be confused with 'UILEN' (singular, lower-case: uil), which means OWLS in Dutch.

Several have two pages because they can no longer fit
