i haven't volunteered much since gabriel died; but i might go back to it eventually.

it's nice seeing what is popular fiction coming through the system;

gives you a heads up on reading trends which i think is pretty cool to have! ;-D

to be honest, i'm not really "into" zombies:

it all began when i was volunteering in circulation at the library and noticed more and more zombie lit coming through the system - it got me curious as to why people are consuming so many zombies.

then later my wife took a postmodernism course and the teacher posed the same question: why zombies?

 

so it's not about being into them, it's about cracking a cultural phenomenon.
