Last night saw some falling stars, Judy. The northern Greek sky was cloudy the night before. But the place to be is on a Greek island, in the summer: clear skies and no light pollution...the stars are like diamonds!
(Ah, why I loooove Greece!)

Hello Mike, Are you sure it is GREEN cheese? Not Blue cheese?
Oh, right, green it is...wait a minute, what is that cow with ear muffs
doing over here on the moon? Well, it went over to that "cow" group, too!

The moon (definitely green cheese) is rising in the mind of Mr. Nervous...

Katerina, I hope you saw the perseids, we are under a cloud cover, almost all summer it seems. I was up at 4am to sit outside and watch nothing this year. One year I did get to see them. Chalk marks across the sky, beautiful, and fast.

Will watch the northeastern sky again tonight, after midnight..
and singing:
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket,
Never let it fade away!
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket,
Save it for a rainy day! ( Save it for a rainy day! )

For love may come and tap you on the shoulder,
Some star-less night!
And just in case you feel you wanta hold her,
You’ll have a pocketful of starlight!
(aaah, Perry como)

And we are singing.......
"Well it's only a paper moon
hanging over a cardboard sky
but it wouldn't be make-believe
if you be;ieved in me..."
lalalala...great night for looking upwards!

"The sky's a blackboard high above us
if a shooting star should fall
I'll use that star to write 'I Love You'
a thousand times across the sky...."
