Just returned from my evening stroll...a bit hazy out there, but a nice Full Moon. Greece will not see the eclipse, but the sky is clear enough for these images

Happy winter Solstice!

Great photos, Ruud! Tomorrow night, if the skies are clear...Winter Solstice, Full Moon and eclipse! Happy Holidays!

Wonderful, if we have clear skies for the eclipse and solstice I will be out taking photos.

Thank you all for the moon photos. I wish I could do as well but I'll just enjoy your images. Happy Solstice. I'll try to be awake and hope for clear skies on the 20-21 Dec.

Oh, yes, Judy, I just read about that. For those of you in the States, Dec.20 to 21 will be a great moon-watching night. Winter Solstice, without all of last year's snow...I hope! And December 13th is meteor shower night...after midnight me thinks. If only we shall have clear skies?

Listening to billy holiday...for Laurence:
"....I'll be seeing you,
In all the old familiar places,
That this heart of mine embraces,
All day through.....
In that small cafe;
The park across the way;
The children's carousel;
The chestnut trees;
The wishin' well...
I'll find you
In the morning sun
And when the night is new.
I'll be looking at the moon,
But I'll be seeing you.
