What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Yay, Andy!  Have a great time with Dewi & Katerina!

If you see out of sequence posting for me this week, I have just returned from vacation and I guess I am still in vacation mode.  Hit the wrong button a few tines.  Better wait to address these, huh?

Yay! Katerina is in London town and we'll be meeting up this week with her and Postitively Postal! Hurray for mailart meetups!

I'm years behind on scanning mailart received, and on making for that matter. A new REAL wall will be up soon on the walls of the new house though, and I'm really looking forward to seeing Katerina and Dewi in person soon!

Elena doesn't have access to IUOMA at work, but I'm sure she'll appreciate this when she gets back home. It's gorgeous!

I swoon over little brown envelopes all the time. I picked those up at the Muji store in NYC, Mabb. Glad Pam got home safely. Thanks for letting me know. I just caught up on scanning received mail. I've been so lucky to receive so many wonderful pieces of Mail Art.

Have been meaning to post this for Elna. It was quilling in the window of a shoe store in NYC, I think it was done by an art student from one of the nearby colleges. It was beautiful!

Mim, received "Pam" again in the mail today :)  She likes to travel, I guess.  That was quick, btw!  And the envelope...swoon!>>  Also, enjoying the card from the Richmond Nat'l Battlefield Pk, the bookmark, and of course, the stamp!!  Ha!

Oh, and the leetle brown envelope - I love that sort of stuff!  I guess everybody on  IOUMA loves stationery in all its forms...

I have been receiving so much other fab mail-art, but haven't been noting it on-line;  will do, asap!!

Hey all,

Here is a thrilling adventure. Send some mail art to my college-age daughter. She is in CHILE for a semester:

Sandy Wood
c/o Roberto Villaseca
Ernesto Riquelme 226
Barrio Brasil, Santiago Centro
Santiago Chile

Want to check out her blog?  www.portmantoaster.wordpress.com

Leave a comment. She loves them.

And, thanks in advance for any mail art you send her way. She'll be thrilled and surprised!

Sue
