Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Hey there folks - little feature added on the blog sidebar

I moved the contributor list to the bottom, but now have a little filter on the side, which presents you with just a single persons posts on one page. It filters by tags, so please remember to tag your uploads with your name and the system can then sort you out.

Please tell me if I missed anyone!

I'd like to have everyone's land mail address so that I can send them a card during the year. I think I have all but maybe 2 and I've sent e-mails to those people asking for them. Not necessary to publish them. Most of us have an IUOMA page with that info, right? I am so psyched about this. I had my Day #3 card with me at my Spanish conversation meet-up this morning so I shared about our project (en espanol, no less!) Everyone was very intrigued by it.

I've never really done art in other media or sizes, so the postcard size really feels natural for me, but it's interesting to hear how some other artists of the larger scale have adapted

A few of the posts are like that. We're working on getting to the bottom of it, but it will take a while. I know you do a little design yourself, so you could take a look at it yourself Olga if you please?

Strange... just uploaded a post from flickr, the image does not seem to show up in the grid on the front page... is this the norm? Any ideas?

I agree Camel. Signing up for mailart365 does not oblige you to have your address publicly displayed on the web. However, if anyone wants to put a profile up, as I said before, just post a blog and tag it "profile" and we'll link to it. Personally I won't be doing it.

Personally I think a profile page is a lot of hassle. If people want to post their details on the site it can be done as a blog post and tagged with "profile"

I will then backdate it so that it doesn't show up as a post and make a box on. The side or at the bottom linking to these profile pages.

This would allow people to maintain the own profiles if they wish to on the site

Think a profiles page would be great Andy!

Must admit I'm already lagging behind - we had our work xmas party last night after which I rumbled home at 2am... and made postcard number2 this morning in a hazy state of mind...

The collage is great! And I have no opinion on profiles. I'm pretty easy to find on the web if anyone is interested in finding out more about me.
