Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

About the pictures - could them showing up or not have to do with where they are being hosted? I for one am not hosting my images through blogger or flicker, and I seem to be having no problems. However, my images don't seem to be appearing in the thumbnails at the bottom of the page. It's rather strange.

As for the comment issues - it seems that this is a common problem with blogger. The easiest solution that I know is to use Wordpress, but switching the blog over after people have worked so hard on the visuals and the coding could be a huge pain. I'm used to Wordpress, and thus have a good understanding of it's strengths. Could someone explain to me the respective strengths of Blogger?

Not look at Noah's blog? Okay. I won't, but it'll be difficult now that you've said not to, ha ha ha. No peeeking!

I think my only real complaint about the site design now is related to comments. I can't figure out how to get all comments on my posts to email directly to me. I did set Disqus to email me on follow-up comments, but I don't ever know if someone has commented unless I check each post. Actually, I'd like to be emailed all comments on all posts, but that seems impossible from the Disqus settings. And because the replies don't default to the end of the thread, I miss sometimes conversation points when I'm reading the comments on the site. I tried following the "recent comment" thread at the bottom of the page, but I still miss conversations. I should just let go of wanting to read everything.

I often tell people that I like randomness, so maybe I just have to accept this grid situation as just that, some randomness added into the mix. Off to the post box to mail today's card.

The thumbnail on the grid is indeed puzzling. There appears to be no rhyme or reason as to when it shows up, but we are looking into it.

In the meantime, your thumbnails will show up in the thumbs beneath the grid. Anyone have any other ideas?

Hi, things are rolling, how sweet! So I've been posting my MA to the blog via blogger. No image shows up on our blog grid. Is it best to post on this page and have it go to the blog? How are others posting so that their image shows up. I'm puzzled, and I'm not a newbie to blogging.

My pleasure Postmuse. Please don't hesitate to tell me if there are any features you want to see or anything I can do to make it easier to use.

Thank you Andy. I like the new format better. The navigation is easier for me. I hope everyone continues to remember to tag their posts with their names.

Due to popular demand for thumbnails I've added a thumbnail gallery of recent posts at the bottom of the posts in the meantime. We're still looking into displaying the thumbnails on the post themselves, so hang in there

In addition you can now check out your own 365s in a single swipe by clicking your tag in the sidebar. Hope y'all like the improvements!

Yeah I've also been checking for tags. Thanks for being the second eyes Camel.
