Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

I think it's possible to make the stats public. Is this something that you guys would want?

Hi folks

Not sure how many are interested, but I am an avid statwatcher. I just wanted to drop a few Mailart365 stats in here so you know.

So far, 9 days into the project, we have had 7,049 pageviews, which peaked at 901 on December 1st, launch day.

We have most of our hits from North America unsurptisingly with a scattering of UK, Australian and Canadian viewers. I'd estimate that we average about 700 pageviews a day.

Not bad! :-)

Well, at least Mim and I will be in the same state :-) And I would love to see a coffee shop huddle in our future!

It's fun to think of PostMuse and I huddled in a coffee shop making Mail Art together. Could happen someday. I, however, am headed north, to the Big Apple, brrrrrrr, frigid weather, to visit my daughter and get inspiration from galeries and museums. Or not. Or stay in a cafe and drink hot chocolate and stay warm. Glad I could send spring to Thessaloniki!

Oh my. I couldn't be going as place less "Midwest"! I'll be in upstate New York, enjoying a big family gathering.

Oh no Mim and Postmuse both off. I bet you are secretly locking yourself in a cafe together to make piles of mailart somewhere in the midwest.

We're going to be traveling for a few days. I'm taking these prepared cards with me. I'll complete them and mail them daily, but not sure about being able to post on the blog. I'll take photos of them before I send them, of course (oooh hope I remember!!)

I'm not going to have a computer for a few days. I'll catch up with posts when it is back, and will continue to make at least a card a day while it is gone. I could use my iPhone for posts but it is tedious.
