Phew - looks like Blogger is back up and running. What a weird time. I've never had trouble with blogger in the 10 years I've used it. Strange that Google were having a weird moment. 

 

Can I just confirm that nobody lost any posts? I'm going to fine-tooth-comb the posts and see if there's anything missing.

 

Great to see that Mine and Elenas REAL posts are reaching people from Vietnam! Very happy about that! Apologies haven't been posting to the blog myself, I'm about 3 months behind!

the kids at her school have been viewing all the art you guys have sent me this week and they really love it!

 

and i wanted to let you know, on monday i'm doing something completely different with charlotte's class. we're cutting out pictures from 1. an art history book and 2. nintendo power. i'm going to take the pictures and cut them into various shapes like i did for the origami papers for the kindergarteners, then they'll make collages. instead of glue we're using scotch tape and when we're all done i'll cover them with clear packing tape, like camel said he does sometimes. we're under serious time constraints, so this is the best i could come up with that is done quickly with minimal adult help.

 

as always, i'll take some photos of what they make! ;-D

i oosed to pre-schedule mine, but i stopped doing that since i have a constant flow of new stuff now and i like to just have it posted and move on.
