What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Oh wow, I didn't realise Amo was posting so many pics. We had such a fun night on our first night in Shanghai with Amo. I wasn't sure she would like coming with us to an Irish session but she and her friend Steven loved it and we all had such a good time. We're meeting up again today to go see some contemporary Chinese artists and then Pirates of the Carribean!

Yes I believe that we have indeed reached a halfway point. Is there some kind of procedure we need to follow? I've just made piece 100, I'm still 3 months behind!

yeah it's a small world indeed. I'm in the process of getting a London meeting set up with BrisCris all the way from Australia! Looks like we're going to have a  Field Study happening with Mailart Martha here in London. I can't wait!

LOVE those new images!
I just found out Canada Post is going on strike this Thursday - boooo!
Oh well, I'll just have a stack of MA to post out when it's all over. Hope it doesn't last long - lately, I've been getting wonderful mail everyday. :(

You are correct, Mim, today, May 30, should be Day 181 and tomorrow, May 31, Day 182. So that June  1st should be 183. I have skipped a number somewhere in my listings, but shall hold back on June 1st and make it 183 (b)...that way you and I will continue on the same NUMBERED Mail Art day.

But of course, we have made many. many. many more than 181 cards as of today! That is something that project 365 has taught me

...I really do "make"! ;-)

I think tomorrow is halfway point. I'm at day 181, BUT that said, I've actually made and sent out 360 cards, as of today, though there's no mail service yesterday or today, so Sat. Sun. & Mon. won't be postmarked until tomorrow. Half Way!! Yay!

Oh, now I see the great photos of Amo and Jennifer! How wonderful!

Small world ain't it Mim????

Some meet in Shanghai..others meet in Istanbul!

Thanks for sharing the photos, Amo...we are all together with you!
