Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Katerina!

Greece is one of my husband's favoorite places.  He backpacked through Europe; back in the day!  Just last night he said "we should move to Greece when we retire".

Great sunset photo!  I want to go there.  Glad you are enjoying the beach.  I'm going to show my husband when he returns from bicycling.

Welcome home JJ...yes, that is the view from my Greek seaside shack (too small to qualify as a cottage even!). We are across a bay from Mt. Olympus. Really a difficult life here ;-) And then they say that "Greece is poor" Ha! How about sunset yesterday:

Wow Katerina, is that the view from where you live or are you on a holiday? Yes, I do want to come for a visit.

I have been back home in the beautiful Pacific Northwest for three weeks now and it is great. A friend shared an old saying with me recently "There's no place like home, no where else do the trees grow just so". I love that, I feel like all these conifers are wrapping me up in a big tree hug.

Anyway, I'm not living in my own house yet, staying with brother in law, using his computer and so I can't quite sit around on IUOMA or the MA365 blog as much as I would like. So I just wanted to check in and say hi and thanks to all the great artists who sent me mail at Crisispanty's place. Ending our journey and coming home to those was a giant joy!! Thanks heaps! Replies, both Chinese and Portlandian coming this weekend.

Hey Andy, Glad you checked that out.  I was thinking it was my internet provider doing maintenance, in the wee hours.  They do that and the internet crawls.  That seemed to be the time of day, I was having problems.  I'm sure Google will fix the problem.  They are pretty good about that.

Hi Mim! I have to wait until after midnight to get a bit of internet access here where the sands meet the Aegean Sea (can't ask for too much, right?) Inspiration for up and coming Summer Sandpo Greek Island (or mountains):

What I see daily across the bay ('tis Mt. Olympus). Anyone want to come by for a visit?

PostMuse, breathe breathe, for me, I love sending you mail, if you send back it's fab but if not, I'm not counting - hugs! Wish I was lying on the sand (not the sandpaper) love seeing those cards Katerina.  The marks AFTER the New York were put on by the post office. enough said. We keep on sending.
