I'm running a mailart show with Westminster Libraries in London, for a display in Pimlico library from March 25, 2011, so the deadline for this call is March 11th. The works will be on the walls for 2 weeks or so.

What we want is postcard sized (up to A5 should be fine - feel free to interpret this as you wish) stories from mailartists, comics creators and anyone else who can tell a story. The works will go up on the walls of the library as a backdrop to talks by comics creators and artists, and I may even do a talk about mailart.

Ultimately, the idea is to produce a book of all the stories which will go on the shelves of Pimlico library, so your stories will be immortalised, but this isn't yet confirmed.

We'd love to get as many Little Big stories as possible, so if you intend to send us one, or want to swap some ideas, drop in and lets talk!

Hi Kyra

I'm sorry but the show is over for 2011. However, I am already in discussion with the librarians about this years show. It was such fun last year it's very likely we'll do it again this year, so as soon as I know I'll post it here!

Managed to take some pics of the exhibition today - the librarians were superb and really put a lot of effort into the presentation and it looked GREAT!

Photos going up as I type at http://www.flickr.com/photos/andytgeezer/sets/72157626470241055/wit... and more to follow.

The stories have gone down really well, with lots of people in the library stopping to look at them all on the way round and Pimlico library have even spoken to us about hosting a similar show soon. Details to follow

Martha, by the way, our librarian friend who helped get the show together LOVED your piece/ I really thought it was spot on the money. There is another scathing piece in the show regarding the closure of St James library in Victoria. Powerful stuff

Hey Louise it may not make it onto the walls as the pieces are now all mounted and up on the walls. However, there is a possibility that the library will be working with me and Elena to produce a book of the pieces submitted, and I have suggested including pieces that missed the deadline and maybe even new pieces for the book.

Watch this space, as if this happens your piece will definitely be in there

Newest blog post up on the Westminster libraries blog is of Little Big Stories! Check it out! The librarians done a fine job of displaying the pieces, check out the pics, they backed each one to make them stand out and the stories are on the shelf ends as well as on the walls.

Apparently people have been stopping and reading all the stories and the response has been really excellent!

I'll double check when I get home, as I haven't had time to check the mail. In the meantime send me a copy to andy@myrealwall.com and I'll see if I can make sure you are included
