This being November 12, we all have one month left to live. That being said, it's imperative that you send your last remaining works of art to the project!
This being the 1st of October, a reminder that there are still 2 months left for submissions to the 12-12-12 End of the World Project. It's been a lot of fun and a big success by any measure -- as of today, the number of views the project Blogspot is less than a hundred shy of 50,000!
If you've already submitted work, you can send more if you like, there's still time. If you haven't viewed the blog in awhile, take a fresh look. There's lots of great new work that's been added! Thanks again.
these are some picture i found on crazy art ideals by Tarun. i love this kind of art there 50 something shots and are called World Without People
I agree about the timing....the powers that be are just trying to stave off the panic...those mayans are rotating slowly in their tombs....the rotisserie of schadenfreud....
Haha, the anthropologists' timing was soooooo perfect ... perhaps a little tooo perfect. I will look for the movie!
LTS, it's not surprising that the work has slowed. Some spoilsport anthropologists now claim that Mayan glyphs have been misinterpreted and the world will not end when it was supposed to. This is sooo maddening for people like me who have been holed up in our bunkers for the past year. (BTW, you must see the movie, Take Shelter if you haven't already. I see a lot of movies that I instantly forget but the last few scenes of that movie have been replayed many times in my head, along with their attendant feelings of awe and horror.)
The final 6 chapters from Simon Warren's "12-12-12 End of the World Project" novella have been posted! http://ning.it/icE3aJ
