Regarding the book's location, I just read through the comments from the beginning to see what's recorded.
Alex began the book and sent it to Ruud.
On February 22, Ruud passed the novel to Litsa Spathi.

Dawn, thanks for the link. You're not a dork.

I think your comment did, in a way, trigger the fracas, though not through any fault of yours. Medwolf and Rod replied to your "woke to 10 emails" comment humorously -- not seeing your comment as an attack on them, and not criticizing you in any way. But Wilma misunderstood all three posts. She mistakenly thought you were criticizing them and they you. So she defended you and joined in what she thought was your attack on them. A noble sentiment, but based on a misunderstanding, and perhaps an over-reaction. Then other people joined in to defend Medwolf and Rod or to broker a truce.

At this point it might be well to note that Ning allows a contributor to remove any of her own past comments which she now regrets. Perhaps that would solve the problem of "negative b____" that someone alluded to, and the associated issue of coarse language in the archived discussion.
