Comment by Helga Deb on October 1, 2013 at 1:46am: I be been in sewing machine limbo! Mine died.... I found an ebay replacement.... But still missed mine! I didn't trust the local repair guy so..... I spent $96 to ship her from Nashville TN to Portland OR where I bought her. The broken board was $29 and the labor to fix it $130. And of course, another 100 for shipping. So.... The local guy told me 700 to start! So..... I get my machine back! And it cost me half??? I wish the local guy knew what he was doing..... It would have saved a couple hundred in shipping costs!
