I was happy to receive this special stitched (and cancelled) artistamp!

Created and sent by Angela Behrendt from Germany. She sent it for my 'real weird animals' mail art project (this funny animal is the Naked Mole Rat), and I will post it there later.
But first I wanted to share it with you, fabric lovers!
The artistamp is just 3x4 cms small, and I was surprised that the paper on which it has been stitched, is kept so well (I always make bigger holes and sometimes tear when stitching on paper...).

Despite of the irregular surface (by the thread on both sides of the stamp) the German mail added a beautiful cancellation stamp to the picture. Nice, don't you think so?

I received this beautiful piece from Amy Irwen in today's mail! It's called "Butterfly" and now it's hanging up in my art space. Thanks so much, Amy!
