Oh--I thought A4 was the same as American 8.5X11. I just looked it up and found it is 8.27X11.69 inches. I think it's actually the width that will be an issue, since we're dividing the page lengthwise. So we North Americans need to trim to 8.27 (or 210 mm) paper width  to avoid sticking out of the book block.

Dear onward John, as long as the height is the same (otherwise it will stick out the book block), length shouldn't matter :-)

only problem is we cannot get A4 paper in the US so I'll have to use "Letter" size paper, which is a little shorter and a little wider.  this isn't usually a problem.

Can someone direct me to the "Format Discussion" page where the instructions/format info is for this?  Can't find it.  Just got mailing from De Villo (thank you) but the size instruction is ambiguous.  All I really need to know is the finished or folded size of the 2 sheets I'm supposed to be doing.  It IS 2 sheets, folded together, right?  And should I saddle-staple them or not?

Hi Angie, SA26 = South Africa26 - that's Cheryl's "office" for the project. I'm US26 - United States26. We were talking about ways we could try to help keep this on track and the information flowing. We also talked about the probable need for more offices as things get rolling. You could be MW26 - Milwaukee26 if you like. It always sounds better if you have a cool title. You can give yourself one if you want.
