An artistamp (a portmanteau of the words "artist" and "stamp") or artist's stamp refers to a postage stamp-like artform. It is similar to a Cinderella stamp in that it is not valid for postage, but it differs from a forgery or a bogus stamp in that (typically) the creator has no intent to fool any post office or collector of stamps. (However, depending on how the stamp is used, it may be difficult to distinguish artistamps from local post stamps.) The artistamp is intended to be a miniature artwork which can depict or commemorate any subject its creator chooses.

This is part 1 of a 2 part announcement - The Gina Lotta Post Artistamp Museum has been updated (in 2012) with works from the following artists – some multiple times - who have been inducted into the museum. See new additions to the PAGES section too. If you want to submit artistamps, feel free to send them to PO Box 1424, Jupiter, FL 33468. Everyone on IUOMA is invited to participate in the way that you can. A Vol 3 catalog is planned covering 2012.

that Flew us over ther years ago to Oberlin. Ha.Never met Steve Smith yet, & buz said he might take thee Train or his Red Truck. I'll probably get "Jet Lag", coming from NYC, so plan to get there 2 days ahead, & stick around anouther 2 days before I go home. Some Re-Ajustimentent on theese new Fake Teeth, so Please bear w/ me if I am a bit grumpy. Ha. Also....
