David Burliuk (1882 – 1967) was a artist, poet, publicist and book illustrator associated with the Futurist, Neo-Primitivist and Futurism movements. Burliuk is often described as "the father of Futurism". The city of Lebedyn is his homeland. In the USA he had his own gallery. He wrote letters very much, sent postcards.
