“RUGGERO MAGGI, COME  UN BATTITO D’ALI”

Nel 2020 per i 70 anni di Ruggero Maggi, lo Spazio Ophen Virtual Art Gallery di Salerno aveva attivato un Progetto Internazionale di Arte Contemporanea dal titolo “Fragilità e Distacco”. Dopo la prematura scomparsa dell’artista avvenuta il 29 ottobre del 2025 sentiamo il bisogno e l’urgenza di avviare un nuovo progetto internazionale come “memorial del primo anniversario” a lui dedicato, con un particolare e significativo titolo “COME UN BATTITO D’ALI” per riflettere sul senso della fragilità, la perdita e il distacco che sono le condizioni del nostro precario esistere.

Con questo invito sono allegate le due "basi" da scaricare su cui intervenire e inviare esclusivamente per posta. 

 

Per utilizzare le due basi di lavoro si prega di utilizzare le seguenti basi di lavoro allegate:

Per sicurezza, per evitare che le immagini inviate per posta vadano perse, si prega di inviarle anche in formato JPG a:

Spedire le opere solo per posta, preferibilmente in formato verticale max A4 (29,7 × 21 cm), indicando chiaramente sul retro di ciascuna opera il nome dell'autore, il formato, l'anno di esecuzione, la città, il paese e il rispettivo indirizzo per spedire le due opere a:

Tutte le opere pervenute per posta non verranno restituite ma faranno parte delle opere presenti nella Collezione Bongiani Art Museum di Salerno per eventuali altri eventi.

Il 16 ottobre 2026, tutte le opere pervenute entro la data di scadenza saranno presentate ufficialmente in una mostra collettiva internazionale presso lo Spazio Ophen Virtual Art Gallery di Salerno (Italia).

International Group Exhibition

"RUGGERO MAGGI, LIKE THE FLAP OF WINGS"

In 2020, for Ruggero Maggi's 70th birthday, the Spazio Ophen Virtual Art Gallery in Salerno launched an International Contemporary Art Project entitled "Fragility and Detachment." Following the artist's untimely passing on October 29, 2025, we feel the urgent need to launch a new international project as a "first anniversary memorial" dedicated to him. The project, titled "COME UN BATTITO D’ALI," reflects on the sense of fragility, loss, and detachment that are the conditions of our precarious existence.

This invitation includes two "bases" for download, which you can then use to work on and send exclusively by post.

To use the two working bases, please use the following attached working bases: Base 1 and Base 2.

For security reasons, to prevent images sent by mail from being lost, please also send them in JPG format to:

Send the works by mail only, preferably in portrait format, max. A4 (29.7 × 21 cm), clearly indicating on the back of each work the artist's name, format, year of execution, city, country, and respective address. Send the two works to:

All works received by mail will not be returned but will be included among the works in the Bongiani Art Museum Collection in Salerno for any future events.

On October 16, 2026, all artworks received by the deadline will be officially presented in an international group exhibition at the Spazio Ophen Virtual Art Gallery in Salerno, Italy.
