Collective book of mail art.


Send 18 works of size 14.8 X 21 cm (A5 vertical), numbered and signed,
for making up a series of volumes with different artists in each. Each
volume will contain a minimum of 14 artworks, one per artist. Modify
each copy in order to make them unique originals. All techniques:
printings, drawings, paintings, photographs, collages...

Each participant will receive a volume.

The 6th World's Poetry Festival 2009 will take place on june and july as a tribute to a venezuelan Poet named Juan Calzadilla (National Prize of Plastic Arts 1996).
This event will be sponsored by Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Cultura and Casa Nacional de las Letras Andrés Bello, so my art archive willheld:

OBJECTS/ARTIST'S BOOKS:

Measures UP TO A4 MAXIMUM. The base or pedestal needed should be provided by the artist.

POETRY, FREE VERSE OR RHYME, PROSE, NARRATIVE, ESSAY, STORIES.

VISUAL POETRY:

Collage, visual poems, process poetry, illustrated poetry, labyrinth poems, phonetic poems, audible poems, semiotic, palindrome, holopoems, concrete poetry, video action, photo action, object poem, pseudovisual poetry, braille poetry.

VIDEO, SHORTFILM, DOCUMENTARY, ANIMATION:

All videos will be admitted, shortfilms, photography, documentaries, animations that do not exceed 8 minutes of length and they must be delivered on CD or DVD format ready for its presentation.

MULTIMEDIA EXPRESSION:

They will be admitted on CD or DVD format ready for its presentation including the credits, the photography, the list of the soundtrack that was used and the name of the author.

AUDIO FORMAT:

the audio format admitted has to be:
Wave 44,100 Hz 16 bit stereo
Mp3 from 96 'til 320 KPSS
If the expression is audible, high fidelity required.

Ken, you SCARED me! Replace that picture now! Well, here it's really getting out of control. Between Facebook (that I don't really like but I made the mistake to join and now I have to reply to those silly messages), this site, Dododada (the Italian-only version) and the new wemakezines.ning.com, I'm getting crazy. One of these days I'll just burn everything, I tell ya. As for the rest, my two little monsters are now 8 and 5. I'm getting slightly fat and losing hair. In other words, I'm sexier than ever.

You son of a gun! Where were you hiding all this time? What am I supposed to do now that nobody is shouting at the postman?!
