Oh my! Now you are really confusing me! All these names, I am sure to make mistakes so forgive me in advance. I liked Moan Lisa, very clever. iI never thought you actually moaned. Sorry to read you had a bad reaction to a comment, ignore it, there are many other fish in this mail art pond.
Dearest Moan! I have missed you! You are a master of disguises. Whatever, I am glad you are back but could you not have chosen a simpler name, I will never be able to spell it. I shall call you Dear P.
On drawing, I have always drawn since I remmember but I am not great I know and also find that although the pen ( I have a Samsung tablet with an Xpen and also a drawing tablet attached to the desktop computer) is better than the mouse I prefer to draw roughly in pencil on paper and scan it. Then I refine the sketch with the Xpen in the tablet. And apply filters, that is the fun part.
Do not feel you have to draw. Looking around anything goes. I often use collage, of rubbish mainly and make Trashpo. I find it relaxing, no thought involved.
I also use digital means to make art among many others but it does not exclude drawing as your comment in the Orange Group seem to imply.
I frequently draw on my tablet with the stylus that comes with it. In fact when I bought my first tablet, a Samsung, it was because it has a pen included. At the time the ipad did not.
By the way I rather like your naive drawings. You could process them in a digital program and . . . we do not know where that will get to!
The cat was drawn on paper and scanned. The colour added digitally.
I'm doing okay, studying information security and graphic design through Southern New Hampshire University. Learning quite a bit of the Adobe suite (I mainly used GIMP coming into the program)
