There was a prompt from CreativeSprint to make something just using squares. I'd forgotten how I'd learned to love squares while teaching 2D design with Wucius Wong and Josef Albers Interaction of Color (years ago) I thought, Wow, there must be other Square lovers out there. I am attracted to inutilious activity in many forms. Street art, zine publishing, noise music, glitch video, experimental poetry, and so on. Mail art offers the freedom to create and share my "work" without limits of galleries, judges, careers, commerce, intention, or expectation. I started making and sending mail art sometime in the 1990s, and even organized two large mail art shows in Virginia 1995-1997.
